CLOSED: Giveaway: Fabulous Soaps From Sofya's Words

I love to shop at the Etsy stores! This last week I was able to try a wonderful soap from Sofya's Words Etsy shop.

The Orange Spice soap has a fabulous scent that I adore! The soaps are all natural and left my hands feeling soft. Special soap is a great way to pamper yourself without spending a lot of money. It is something that you can use everyday and it lasts for a long time.

Sofya's Words has graciously offered a giveaway for the readers here at Smart Cents Mom but first, let’s get to know them a little better.

Tell us about yourself ?

Sofyas Words is a husband and wife team who live in Austin, TX. We love making natural, affordable bath and body products. I also do calligraphy and make photo greeting cards.

Tell us about your art? What do you make? How did you start creating your product?
I make hand penned calligraphy products, photographic greeting cards and all natural bath and body products. I have a long-held interest in calligraphy and photography that started in high school and love to offer my work for other people to enjoy.

We started making soap for our family to use and realized there are probably other people who would like to use natural soaps but could not afford the designer prices that are usually charged. The clincher was when we decided to adopt a child from Ethiopia and needed to raise some money for the adoption. We are slowing expanding our product offerings.

Where can we find you online?
http://www.sofyaswords.etsy.com/
or my personal blog: http://www.berjisdomain.blogspot.com/

What is your favorite item in your shop?
Definitely the Orange Spice soap: it has an intoxicating combination of citrus and spice.

What have you learned from selling on Etsy?
It is a lot of work! Even if you have a great product, people don't know that you are even there unless you advertise. Marketing is a significant amount of the time that goes into selling these products. It sounds cliched, but it really is rewarding to send out beautiful, useful, healthy products to people.

Sofya's Words will be giving away 3 soaps to one lucky reader! The soaps are Orange Spice, Fresh Citrus, and Earth Flower.

To enter: Go to Sofya's Words and find a another item that you like that was not mentioned in my post. Leave a comment with the item name or link and why you like that item. You can do this once and must do this before doing the extra entries.

Additional entries: You can do any or all of the following to earn extra entries. Please leave a separate comment for each that you have done.

- Follow my blog (see the left side bar to sign up) Already a follower, just leave a comment saying that you are a follower.

- Subscribe to my blog ( see the left side bar to sign up) Current subscribers are eligible too.

- Blog about this giveaway and leave a link to your post.

- Post my button on your blog and leave a link to your blog.

Giveaway is open to US residents only and ends on Sunday July 19th at 11:59 pm CST. Winner will be chosen using a random number generator. Winner will be posted on this blog and notified by email. Please make sure that you leave your email address in your comment or on your profile so I can contact you if you win. Winner has 48 hours to respond by email or a new winner will be chosen.

I like the UNSCENTED OATMEAL All natural, all vegetable, cold process 4 oz soap, because even though I normally use scented soap for my body, I always keep an unscented soap in the shower for my face on those days when it is acting sensitive.
