JuggleFit DVD Giveaway

Ready to get fit while having fun? Then give juggling a try. It is easy with the JuggleFit DVDs. I have always wanted to learn how to juggle. This would be great for a mom to do with her kids. It is like exercising without realizing that you actually do exercise. Now that is my kind of exercising! You can check out all the DVDs at Jugglefit.com .

What is JuggleFit?

Perfect for fitness enthusiasts who want to conquer the latest trend, and for novices who are motivated by new and “entertaining” workouts, Heather Wolf proudly introduces JuggleFit, a fun and effective exercise routine that promotes coordination, concentration and fitness through instructional juggling DVDs. According to Heather, “Although it may not look like exercise, juggling is a highly aerobic (burns up to 280 calories an hour), no-impact workout that engages the body’s core, utilizing muscles to tone the arms without adding stress on the joints.”

Unmatched by conventional and monotonous types of fitness activities like running on the treadmill or lifting weights, juggling adds an entertainment element to exercising that helps keep people motivated during their workout. The cost-friendly fitness program can also be done by anyone, anywhere, anytime.

Learn to Juggle with Juggle Your Way to Fitness DVDs

JuggleFit DVDs are available in two levels: Beginner and Intermediate. Throughout the first DVD, Heather uses slow-moving scarves to teach beginners the fundamentals of juggling (the scarves are included in the cost of the DVD). After the user graduates to the intermediate level, the scarves are replaced with three JuggleFit Professional Juggling Balls (sold separately from the DVD). “Each DVD will help to burn calories, develop balance & coordination and exercise the mind while having fun,” says Heather. Also included in the Intermediate DVD is an upper body toner workout and five minute balance workout.

Karmin G3 Salon Pro Giveaway

Are all flat irons the same? I thought so at one time. My daughter and I both use a flat iron. We had a cheap model that cost around $50. It worked ok or so we thought. Then about a year ago, I won a really nice expensive hair flat iron on a blog contest. Wow, what a difference! It works so much faster and easier than the old, cheap one.

Now is your chance to win! Thanks to Hairtools.ca, I am giving away a Karmin G3 Salon Pro Hair Styling Iron. This one of their Best Flat Iron. Check out the features below.

Product Features:

1. Ultra hard, mirror smooth Tourmaline Ceramic plate surfaces.
2. Negative ions and infrared heat (removes static) for silky shiny hair.
3. Ion field technology (seals in natural oils).
4. Micro-porous technology (locks in moisture).
5. Won't damage hair like other straighteners.
6. Straight-curl-flip-style.
7. Unparalleled infrared heat for deep, long lasting straightness.
8. Micro chip temperature control with infrared heat for flash quick heating.
9. 232°C (450°F) variable temperature control.
10. Tangle-free 3 meter, 360° swivel cord.

As you can see, this flat iron does more than straighten your hair. You can curl, flip, straighten, or add volume to your hair.

The opinions expressed here are my own. I did not receive anything in exchange for this post.

Giveaway: one person will receive a Karmin G3 Salon Pro Hair Styling Iron (valued at $129).

Mandatory entry: You must "like" Karmin Hair Tools on Facebook. Leave a comment saying that you did so. All other entries are void if the mandatory entry is not completed. You do not need to leave your Facebook name, if you are the winner, I will contact you and ask for it.

Does Every Toy Need a Online Game?

Which comes first anymore - the toy or the online community? I remember the days when toys were just toys. These days it seems like every toy comes with an online community. Do the online communities such as Zooble Games or Webkinz add any extra value?

Personally, I don't like it when you have to purchase toys or extras to use an online toy based community. Webkinz makes you have a toy code or purchase a code in order to enter their community. I like the communities such as Zoobles games were you can play the games without buying a toy. So do people buy the toys in order to be part of the online community? Yes, though, I personally don't understand the appeal of Webkinz. There are many kids who really like them. Even Build a Bear started an online community for kids.

I like the online communities but I hope that manufacturers will continue to create toys that have great play value. Not create toys that have a good chance of making a great online game community. Kids needs to play with toys so as to encourage muscle development and imagination.

I think that the trend of creating online communities for toys will continue. Kids love playing on computers. Toy manufacturers are looking for any ways to keep kids buying toys and playing with them.

So what do you think? Are online game communities ok for kids? Does it matter if the toys are just stuffed animals?

Taking Stock of My Stockpile

I hate to run out of things that I need. Then, horror of horrors, I have to pay full price. So every couple of months, I take a trip through my stockpiles to see where I am running low. That way I can make sure that I look for sales and buy extra coupons for those items.

Today I was looking through my health/beauty items and cleaning supplies.

So what do I have a lot of in my stockpile:

Electrasol/Finish dishwasher tabs

Maxi Pads

Band-aids

Storage bags

What do I need more of:

Toothpaste

Deodorant - especially men's. I have some Degree deodorant left but it is not my favorite.

Also I need more men's shaving lotion and toothbrushes. Not sure how I got so low on toothbrushes!

So remember to take stock of your stockpile! What do you have the most of in your stockpile??
