We've cut out eating out as much as possible. Instead were preparing fancier meals at home that end up costing about $7 compared to $35-$50 eating out. Also, I'm going to ALDI and picking up a few things at other stores that they don't carry. We can get a lot more for our money and don't go crazy shopping because there are less choices. Oh, and I have been clipping coupons a lot more too.

I've tried to cut corners by eliminating unnecessary expenses (such as downgrading my cell phone, cable, and internet service plans) and rediscovering the world of discount clothing and grocery stores to save a bit more money each month. And, of course, coupon clipping is an extra failsafe plan to add a little cushion to my budget!
