No Sacred Cows - Part 2

My family has a terrific dog named Sahara. Well, I needed to take the dog to the vet for her annual shots. I had chosen our vet because the office is extremely close to my house. But no more Sacred Cows!

On Thursday, I called our vet and asked how much the appointment and shots were
going to cost. The cost was going to be $119. Then I spent about 1 hour calling other vets to check prices. I found a vet that was 7 miles away that was cheaper. I took Sahara in on Saturday and my bill was $86.

I saved $33 by just calling around for a better price! I needed the dog to go to the vet but I didn't "need" to be locked in to our old vet.

You can save money by checking prices!
