Have Flavorful Low Soduim Meals With Mrs Dash

As you know, I am trying to make more meals at home instead of eating out. One way to make your meals more exciting is to "spice" them up. I love Mrs Dash low sodium spices. You can have great taste without a lot of salt. The favorites at our house are Southwest Chipotle, Fiesta Lime, and Onion and Herb.

I have some great easy ways to more flavorful meals. Here are some of the ways that I use Mrs Dash in my meals

Spiced Up Hash Browns:
Package of frozen has browns or shred your own
Green peppers
Olive Oil
Mrs Dash Southwest Chipotle Seasoning

Shred potatoes or use frozen hash browns. First chop some onions and green peppers. Heat your skillet with a little bit of olive oil or cooking spray. Add hash browns, onions, green peppers, and 2 teaspoons of the Mrs Dash Southwest Chipotle seasoning (sprinkle evenly over hash browns). Turn over after 3 minutes. Serve when both sides are brown.

Green Pepper Skillet:
Ground beef or turkey
Green Peppers
2 cans of Tomato Sauce
3 cups of Minute Rice
Mrs Dash Salt Free Fiesta Lime Seasoning

Make the 3 cups of Minute Rice according to directions and set aside. Brown ground beef or ground turkey. Add chopped green peppers and two cans of tomato sauce. Then add 2 tablespoons of Mrs Dash Fiesta Lime seasoning. Stir often until simmering about 3 minutes. Add 3 cups of rice (already made). Stir and serve when heated through.

Vegetables: The Mrs Dash seasonings are also great to sprinkle on steamed veggies. Kids who turn their nose up at plain old veggies, can be be kids who like veggies with some spice and zing to them.
