Skin MD Naturral Shielding Lotion Review

Unfortunately as we get older, our skin ages too. I have problems with dry skin so I jumped at the chance to review the Skin MD Shielding lotion. Unlike regular lotions, Skin MD shields your hands from the elements. This allows your skin to heal itself with it's natural oils and moisture. The idea is that Skin MD Shielding lotion forms a protective barrier that keeps out chemicals and irritants.

I have tried the lotion for several weeks now. I have had very good results. My hands are not as dry and chapped as usual. I can see an improvement in my skin's texture. I love the fact that my hands are not sticky like when I apply regular lotion. The Skin MD bottle is small but it takes very little to cover your hand, The first time, I squeezed out a normal lotion size portion. I had way too much so I ended up applying it my arms and elbows too!

Skin MD lotion is made in the US using high quality natural ingredients making it over 90% all natural. It is free of harmful fragrances, parabens, and colorants making it hypoallergenic. Skin MD doesn't not participate in animal testing nor does the lotion contain any animal products. Nice!

Budgeting Tips #18 ~ What to do with all the free magazines

So if you have been following my blog, you are probably getting a bunch of free magazines in the mail. So you read the magazine and pull out any coupons, then what? I receive a lot of magazines in the mail. I love passing them on to other people.

So here are some ideas:
• Pass the magazines on to family members or friends
• Leave them in the doctor/hospital waiting room. When my son went to physical therapy, I loved all the people who left magazines for people to read.
• Ask your local elementary school if they would like any magazines. Students need magazines to cut out the photos for school projects.
• Some libraries will take current magazines. One local library resells them in their used bookstore.
• Talk to your local nursing home or senior living center to see if they would like any magazines.

To be safe, always remember to pull your address information off the magazine cover.

My thoughts:
Witty and fun! Susan May Warren has a winner with PJ Sugar. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. PJ is a woman trying to find her way through life. She is funny and manages to create trouble wherever she goes. The book is a mystery but it is really funny too! At several points, I found myself laughing out loud.

I hope to see more of the Russians in the next book. They are very interesting characters and add depth to PJ sister's family. I especially became fond of Igor.

I had not read the first book in the series, Nothing But Trouble. I liked that this book can stand on it's own. There was just enough background provided about the characters but not an entire rehashing of the first book. Which is great since I plan on reading the first book too.
